1. Introduction

The School of Physics and Telecommunications Engineering of South China Normal University is located in the beautiful Guangzhou University City. It currently has two first-level disciplines of physics and electronic science and technology doctorate authorization and post-doctoral research mobile station, and the doctorate of curriculum and teaching theory (physics direction) Authorization point. In 2017, the physics department entered the ranks of "world-class disciplines".

The college has three key laboratories: Guangdong-Hong Kong Quantum Matter Joint Laboratory, Guangdong Province Key Laboratory of Quantum Control Engineering and Materials, Guangdong Province Key Laboratory of Nuclear Matter Science and Technology, and four engineering research centers: Guangdong Province Quantum Precision Measurement Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong Photoelectric Testing Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong High-efficiency Green Energy and Environmental Protection Material Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Individualized Medical Big Data Engineering Technology Research Center. There are 3 winners of the Ministry of Education Changjiang Scholars/National Outstanding Youth Fund, 3 National Outstanding Youth Funds/Distinguished Young Experts, and 5 Pearl River Scholars. In recent years, about 10 papers have been published in Physical Review Letters every year.

2. Recruitment field

Physics (atomic and molecular physics, particle physics and nuclear physics, optics, theoretical physics, condensed matter physics); electronic science and technology (circuits and systems, microelectronics and solid-state electronics, electromagnetic fields and microwave technology, physical electronics) , Information and Communication Engineering; Curriculum and Teaching Theory (Physics).


3. Talent level and application requirements

(1) Outstanding talents

In principle, the age should not exceed 50 years old. Possess good academic leadership skills, has achieved landmark achievements recognized by domestic counterparts, and has rich scientific research results in the past five years. After coming to the school, he can serve as a leader in this discipline or direction.

(3) Young top talents

In principle, applicants for natural sciences should not exceed 40 years of age, and applicants for arts, philosophy, and humanities and social sciences should not exceed 45 years of age. They have achieved original scientific research results and recognized by peer experts, reaching the national "four youths" The level of talent may have the ability to impact the country’s “four youth” talents.

(4) Young Talents

In principle, applicants who are no more than 35 years old and have outstanding performance in the arts, philosophy, and humanities and social sciences can be relaxed to 38 years old. Obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Ministry of Education where the Class A disciplines are located or the top 200 universities in the world (the four internationally recognized global university rankings: ARWU, QS, THE, US News, the same below) Academic degree or post-doctoral research work; to obtain original scientific research results, with outstanding academic potential and vitality.

(5) Young talents (postdoctoral)

In principle, the age should not exceed 35 years old. Obtain a doctoral degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, domestic universities that are not lower than our school, domestic universities whose subject ranking is not lower than our school, or the top 500 universities in the world; get good scientific research work The results have obvious academic potential and vitality. Young talents (postdoctoral) are also included in the postdoctoral management of the country or Guangdong Province.

(6) Post-doctorate

In principle, the age is no more than 35 years old, with a doctoral degree, with certain academic potential and vitality.


4. Treatment conditions

(1) Employment benefits

1. Outstanding talents, leading talents

Become a member, hire professors or researchers, provide competitive annual salary and housing subsidies, research and determine scientific research start-up funds based on the subject foundation and actual needs, and help build the team.

2. Young top talents

Incoming, appointing or preferentially appointing deputy senior or senior positions, the annual salary and tax is 300,000-600,000 yuan, and the housing allowance can be up to 2 million yuan before tax. 3. Young talents, young talents (postdoctoral), postdoctoral

(1) School treatment

①Basic salary, basic performance and rental subsidies (excluding the "five social insurance and one housing fund" unit part):

Young talents hire specially-appointed researchers for a three-year term, with a basic salary of 150,000 yuan/year, basic performance of 100,000 yuan/year, rental subsidies of 24,000 yuan/year, and three items totaling 274,000 yuan/year;

Young talents (postdoctoral) hire special associate researcher for a three-year term. The basic salary will be implemented according to the special post-doctoral fund of 150,000 yuan/year provided by the state and Guangdong Province, basic performance of 80,000 yuan/year, and rental subsidy of 24,000 yuan/year , The three items total 254,000 yuan/year;

The post-doctorate employs a special associate researcher for a two-year term, and the basic salary is based on the special post-doctoral fund of 150,000 yuan/year provided by the state and Guangdong Province.
