The Third International Workshop on Intelligent Data Processing (IDP’2014)

The Third International Workshop on Intelligent Data Processing (IDP’2014)–

Online Social Networks (OSN) and E-health Data

in Conjunction with the 14th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM 2014)

 14-17, December, 2014,Shenzhen,China

OSN and E-health data, although widely and diligently collected, continue to be under-utilized for research and evaluation. How to make use of the enormous amount of data efficiently and effectively is one of fundamental issues that data science researchers encounter today, particularly for OSN and e-health data analysis. Such research holds a great promise to improve the quality of data analysis. To accomplish this objective, the collaborations of both practical applications and theoretical research will be essential.

Organized in conjunction with the 14th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (IEEE ICDM 2014), the purpose of the 3rd IDP is to provide a forum for discussion and interaction among researchers with interests in the cutting edge techniques of intelligent data processing mechanisms. Participants are invited to submit papers in all areas of data- and knowledge-based approaches, particularly in the areas of Big Data and Online Social Networks.
